"The Atlantis Is A Gem!"
I just returned from a girls weekend getaway to the Atlantis, and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was! It is truly a gem, and I cannot wait to return time and time again.
My friend and I had room 203 on the second floor, and the views were nothing short of spectacular. The rooms are as oceanfront as it gets. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves crash on the rocks. The rooms have big picture windows as well, so even if the weather isn't the greatest, you can still sit inside and get the same view.
The room was one of the cleanest I've ever seen, and the beds were extremely comfortable and very hard to get out of in the morning...in a good way!
We loved Gloucester and enjoyed hunting for sea glass on the beaches, shopping on main street, and had some great meals as well. We enjoyed lobster and steamers the first night at the Gloucester House, and the food, atmosphere, and service were all great.
The Atlantis has a great breakfast cafe with awesome bacon and perfectly brewed coffee. We enjoyed being able to walk downstairs and grab a bite first thing in the morning. We also loved taking a walk along the oceanside sidewalk after we ate.
I would highly recommend the Atlantis to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing coastal New England getaway!

"Most beautiful place in Massachusetts."
Third stay and it is always exactly the same. PERFECT! Clean, friendly, every need met, close to shopping, art colony and Gloucester restaurants. Just perfect! Also the favorite place of everyone we have introduced to the Inn. Breakfast is the best.

"Amazing Views"
I never leave reviews but i really wanted to let everyone know that this place is very much worth the money. The views alone are unbeatable. This place was sooo clean. The pool area is great, its a very family friendly place. Good Harbor beach is an easy 15 minute walk which is good b/c on a holiday-parking for that beach is $25. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

"What a gem!"
Stayed here with our 13 and 16-year-olds. Exceptionally beautiful view, very tranquil. Very, very lovely room - spotless - great deck to sit out on. Roomy with small refrigerator, so we ate lunch and breakfast on our deck. Short easy drive (mile or so) to Gloucester/Rockport. Can rent bike at a nearby shop (about 1/2 mile away). Beach is walking distance - a bit of a haul to drag stuff - expensive to park at beach. We rented bikes ... dropped off stuff at the beach by car, and returned by bike. We loved the location of this place, as well as the decor, space, and cleanliness of the room. Staff was warm, helpful and welcoming. The pool is super...nice size, comfortable chairs, beautifully landscaped with flowers and overlooks the ocean. Would recommend this place to anyone. Loved it and will be back.

"Hail Atlantis!"
We had the good fortune to be guests at this wonderful hotel. We arrived on Sunday 10/11/09 and stayed through Thursday. Our room was immaculate, beautifully appointed, warm, inviting and afforded us a view of the ocean in all it's glory! The balcony was a great place to read and take in the scenery, even on a cool sunny day! The in-room coffee pot and coffee were top notch. The
entire staff could not have been more helpful and professional. The breakfasts were amazing (my favorite- blueberry wheat pancakes!) and served in a room full of light with an ocean view. In the evening, the fresh chocolate chip cookies drew us in every time! This was a stay that lived up to all our expectations and then some! We would recommend The Atlantis to anyone looking for a great get away! There is plenty to do close by (Rockport, Salem, Newburyport, Gloucester, do visit the Ryan & Wood Distillery!), great path along the ocean for walking. This was a perfect time to visit! The colors were at their peak!!
Our picks for dining: Gloucester- Topside Grill, La Tratorria.; Manchester-The Landing; Rockport-The Greenery. All had great food, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced!

"Everything Perfect!"
Loved my time at the Atlantis! View of the twin lighthouses was awesome and you could watch the sunrise over the sea if you wanted to get up early and sit out on the balcony. The room was spotless and came with a fridge which was nice. Nice walking, jogging sidewalk out front along the ocean was popular with locals and guests. Not far from a great beach and there are many places to kayak on the Cape as well. I also enjoyed the breakfast restaurant, the food and service were wonderful. I would go back and stay longer if I could!
